Hi everyone… it’s the weekend and so it must be time for a new blog entry!! I finally got around to doing some SERIOUS editing (and by that I mean leaving most of it on the cutting room floor) of Sophie’s school’s Winter Concert. So check out the video below.  What else has been going on?  Well, Mark and I are doing our annual detox for the next 3 weeks, which is kind of fun, and probably the best part is the only real dishes I have to do is wash out the vitamix twice a day.  So, leaves me free time for lots of other things, like contemplating how hungry I am.

Max is recovering from an ear infection, which isn’t so great, but I am hoping that everyone will get their sickies out now and then when we head to Maui we’ll be healthy (and oh-so-ready for those rum drinks!)  Mark head off to Barcelona in a couple of weeks and gets back right before the vacation. Both kids are enjoying school, and I just registered Sophie for kindergarten next year.  Time flies, I can’t believe my little baby is going to ride a bus to and from school in the fall!!

It’s still winter here but last week we had about 4 days (over the weekend!!) that were amazing.  Like, sit out in short sleeves and get some pink in your cheeks from the sun while drinking a margarita, amazing.  It perked everyone up from the winter doldrums and Max was extra happy because he got to play outside in the dirt!

Mommy was extra happy because I could for a short while anyway keep the mess outside for a change! Anyway, I think I need to go make myself another cup of tea, which is the beer of choice while on a detox, right Mark?
